POLICIES

Terms & Conditions:

In order to hold your reservation we require a credit card number. We will not process the card until your stay or you may also choose to pay in another form prior to check-out. Guests acknowledge, understand, and agree that when they supply Sunset View Resort & Tavern with their credit card information, Sunset View Resort & Tavern is authorized to charge the credit card for the rental amount agreed upon, including any incidentals (extra cleaning fees or damage to or missing property).

 

Please treat the property with respect & leave your cabin as you found it. Do not leave items such as paper or plastic products, food, ice, etc. Please empty all of your trash, including outdoor trash cans, & remove any litter left on the property or in the bonfire pits. There are trash & recycle dumpsters inside the fenced-in area, next to the garage for disposal. Additional cleaning fees will apply if items or trash are left. Fees will also apply for any extra cleaning beyond what we consider to be standard, or for any broken or missing items. Please keep all dishes & other items in the cabin which they originated.

 

There shall be one point of contact per group. That guest should provide a complete guest list prior to check-in date, along with a list of all vehicle year, make, and models that may stay on the property for any length of time, as well as number of pets, if applicable, in each cabin. If you are found exceeding the maximum occupancy of your cabin, you will be charged a minimum of $200 per cabin and it will be considered a breach of contract that may result in eviction with no refund.

Cancellation Policies:

If you need to cancel for any reason inside of 7 days of your reservation (weather, health-related, and family emergencies included), you are responsible for the entire amount of the reservationIf you need to cancel for any reason inside of 30 days, there is a 50% fee of the total amount of your reservation. There is no penalty for cancellations made at least 30 days in advance although, with all cancellations, you will forfeit your annual reservation, if applicable.

Pet Friendly Policies:

A $50 fee per cabin, per pet will be applied with a MAXIMUM OF 2 PETS PER CABIN and may not crossover cabins (for example, if your group books more than one cabin, 3 dogs in one cabin & 1 dog in another will NOT be allowed). Pets are NOT permitted on furniture or beds. Pets must be fully trained, properly restrained by guest, remain on a leash at all times when outdoors, NOT permitted inside tavern, and never left unattended. Any disturbances, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on resort property, the designated waste removal area on property is near the fish cleaning station and marked. Additional cleaning fees will be applied if pet policies are not followed. Please make sure to mention how many pets you have when paying for your cabin(s). Failure to do so will result in a $100 fine for each pet undisclosed.

Weapons or fireworks are NOT permitted on resort property and if found will be charged a minimum of $100 per cabin, plus full cabin rental amount and may result in immediate eviction with no refund.
